Kia, also known as Kia Comedy, is an entertainer, writer, and activist who is currently touring the country with her signature “Lez Laugh” and “Queer Comedy” shows. No stranger to the fashion scene, Kia served as producer of the "Dapper" and "Ice" The Andro Fashion Shows. She has been on the Wendy Williams show, and Kia has performed with many prominent comedians, including Luenell, Comedian Shang, and TK Kirkland. Kia is also the host of SVTV Network’s “Queer Comedy Jam,” which features the best LGBTQ comedians from all over the country.
Kia uses her entertainment platform to encourage acceptance, diversity, and unity in all communities. She does so by sharing her experiences growing up in church, as an educator, as number 11 of 12 siblings. Kia recently completed a Fulbright Research Fellowship to study abroad in Belize, and her research is published and implemented in American curricula and potentially in classrooms throughout the country.
Kia has also had several articles published, including many in “Curve” Magazine, the most heavily circulated lesbian periodical, and Kia was also be featured in the November 2016 issue of “Glamour Magazine.” Kia is a speaker for Georgia Equality and an advocate and activist in the LGBTQ community. For those reasons, Kia knew the community would appreciate the opportunity to see Dapper, Masculine-Identified Lesbians in only the finest menswear. “So often we’re forced to pretend to act and be like someone we are not. An Omaha to Atlanta transplant, Kenzie has studied and practiced within the information technology field for over 18 years, both professionally and personally. She has a Bachelors and Masters in Management Information Systems, and she also minored in Graphic Design and Business Administration. No stranger to technology, Kenzie has created and designed video games, hardware, websites, and she is the go-to Graphic Designer and Coordinator for Kia Comedy. She has used her expertise to become a master in her field and crossover into many behind-the-scenes roles in entertainment, including DJ-ing. Kenzie always has a creative mind when it comes to art and writing, which is highlighted even more when she is able to combine her creativity with technology. Kenzie currently works as an IT Project Manager and also assists with promotions and marketing for Kia Comedy’s, the “Lez Laugh” Tour. She also served as Co-Producer and Promotions Manager for “Dapper" and "Ice" the Atlanta-based Fashion Shows that featured Masculine-Identified Queer Women and Bois in Menswear. Kenzie has successfully worked with multiple Fortune 500 companies to produce top of the line technical publications. Ke Monet is a runway and print model, originally from Chicago. She began modeling at the age of 7 with her identical twin sister. She has been in many runway shows across the country such as Blake Martin's iCandy Fashion Show, Chicago Fashion Week, Androgyny Upcycled, and Sweet Heat Miami: The Andro Fashion Show. She has been published in Chicago Black Fashion Week magazine and Fashionable Addictions Boutique, as well as being the face for "Model Atelier", a clothing line for tall women, and "Snap at You Photography Chicago" with Laud Ohkah.
With her previous experience modeling, Ke Monet also started directing fashion shows as well as becoming a walk coordinator and model coach. To date she has helped produce shows such as "An Evening of Giving Back 2016", "Lipstick and Lace 2015", "Sweet Heat Miami: The Andro Fashion Show", and "Androgyny Upcycled". Ke Monet will serve as the model coach and coordinator for Allure: The Andro Fashion Show.
Hailing from Hamilton, NJ by way of Daytona Beach, FL, Alexis or “Lex” is a woman of many hats. With a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling,Alexis provides counseling services to incarcerated youth and individuals with developmental disabilities. A devote Christian and religion philosophy minor, Alexis has taken mission trips on the path of discipleship; her last being to an orphanage in Haiti for Christmas. In her spare time Alexis is a business owner and published model. She recently launched The Exception Thrift Store; an online resale powerhouse for vintage finds.
Alexis has been modeling for 8 years after being introduced to the modeling world through Faces modeling troupe. Alexis currently spends her time in Atlanta as a print and runway model. She was featured on the cover of Savi magazine and within the pages of many other local Atlanta magazines. Alexis has been in hundreds of shows over the years including PPG battle of the bodies, Denim and Desserts & The Andro Fashion Show. Runway etiquette and model coaching isn't new to Alexis as she independently coaches models and served as the fashion coordinator to many models during her time spent with Faces modeling troupe. She is currently one of the modeling coaches for The Andro Fashion Show. Additionally, Alexis serves as the face of many brands such as Bobbie co. Designs by Eye, Trends and Treasures and Custom Creatives. In her down time, Alexis plays wide receiver for the Atlanta Lady Tigers
Quiana “Q”, is a free spirit from St. Louis, Missouri. She moved to Atlanta, GA to study psychology where she received her BA degree at a local HBCU. She has an undeniable love for art and expression through her personal experiences in choir, dance and performing in pageants. However, Q did not recognize her leadership skills until she started working for a Fortune 500 Company.
Q has seven years of personnel and program management. She has received several awards for her leadership and process improvement skills. In addition, she is the first African American woman in a managerial position at the company’s Atlanta site. She loves finding talent in others and developing them to their fullest potential. She wants to see others win and receives great satisfaction being a contributing factor. Q has served as the production coordinator for "Ice" and "Allure", as well as assisting with other Andro Fashion Show and Kia Comedy events in Atlanta.
Savoi Green is a freelance fashion stylist and image consultant specializing in red carpet dressing, campaign, fashion editorial and personal shopping services. Savoi is setting the standard among Atlanta’s fashion elite, impressing the industry with her eye for cutting edge style. She has a flare for detail whether it is designer - established or emerging - down to the high street and possesses the ability to mix labels, looks and trends to astounding effect.
Quickly making a name for herself, Savoi showed off her creative ability in her first fashion show last year in Andro Upcycled. Savoi took off from there and starting working with Kia Comedy and The Andro Fashion Show team. Savoi has also participated in fashion shows like The Walk Fashion Show, NYA NYA Couture Fashion Show, Society Fashion Show, Small Business Fashion Show For NY Fashion Week , and The Andro Fashion Show in Atlanta & Miami just to name a few. She currently serves as The Andro Fashion Show's lead stylist.
