Meet the team!

Producer: Kia Barnes

Kia “Comedy” Barnes is the creator and producer of The Andro Fashion Show, and an advocate for equality.  " A teacher turned comedian, Kia has worked with Netlix, BET, LOL Network, NBC, Google, McDonalds, and more.  She has also collaborated to cultivate queer safe spaces with the Human Rights Campaign, Back 2 Basics Philly, Georgia Equality, Atlanta Pride, Pridelines Miami, Clexacon Las Vegas, and many more!  She was also instrumental in producing Atlanta’s first “Equality March,” in commemoration of the Pulse Orlando tragedy.  Simply put, Kia “Comedy” Barnes is not just jokes.

Model Coach: Bonni C.

Bonni, a veteran Andro Model, is the lead model coach for Andro Fashion show. She is a skilled fashion professional, with experience in high fashion modeling, design, creative directing, and fashion show production. Having started her own model development firm, Bonni has coached over 500 aspiring and experienced models throughout the country, both individually and within numerous productions. An out and proud member of the LGBT community, Bonni has helped curated queer safe spaces within her own shows and events, and she continues to assist with creatively encouraging diversity.   2022 will be Bonni's 5th year working with the Andro Fashion Show, and her first time serving as lead model coach. 

Model Coach: Amari Mcgee

A 5 year veteran of the Andro Fashion Show, Amari “Mari” McGee is a professional speaker, educator, activist, consultant, content creator, and the founder of "To Better Understand." In addition to his critically acclaimed keynotes, Mari's classes and workshops are highly regarded and set a new standard for transgender education and personal development.  Born AFAB (assigned female at birth), Mari first came out as a lesbian at the age of 18, then as a transgender man 2 years later. No stranger to the Andro Runway, this will be Mari’s first time serving as one of our model coaches.

Lead Coordinator: Alexis Martin

Alexis Martin has been the behind the scenes assistant and coordinator for numerous Kia and Co. Ent. events.  From coordinating with models, comedians, and musicians, to providing production support for the "Andro Fashion Show," "Soulful Sundays" Music Showcases, touring "Lez Laugh" Comedy Shows, and "Fem Fridays" parties and events, Alexis has proven efficient and effective at helping make sure each event runs smoothly.   With a background in Pageantry, Modeling, and Acting, Alexis is no stranger to the entertainment industry.  This will be her 4th year working with Andro Fashion Show.  

Marketing Director: Malik Yoga

Malik  is a Creative Director, yoga teacher, podcast host, and the creator of Amador, an organization centered in community wellness. This will be Malik's first partnership with The Andro Fashion Show, but Malik is no stranger to LGBTQ community engagement. His work has included national campaigns with brands like GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign, Liforme, Wussy Magazine, and many more LGBTQ+ outlets.  Through his yoga platform, Malik, has helped lead voter engagement initiatives, and he also sits on Fulton County District Attorney's LGBTQ Advisory Committee.
